I have recently had my third back surgery and this one was over my first lower back surgery. So, I have been recently having major flare ups of pain and I was wondering if anyone had some tips on things that help and what all I can avoid doing to get them?

I have tried ice and it's so so. I currently can't take any anti-inflammatory meds which I know would help but taking them stunts the bone growth. Toradol helped with pain while I was in the ER, but now that's wore off since this morning. Not many muscle relaxers or anything honestly has helped sadly, and my neurologist is out of town this week.
Does ice or heat help with the flare ups? Also, have you found any medication that offers any type of relief yet?
