Is it recent and good possibility to heal or more of degenerative disc and trying to prevent decline and manage pain? Specifically for disc- type I & II collagen supplement with hyaluronic acid helps Also new treatment my doc told me about called VIA disc injection that injects human cadaver of nucleus of disc so you’re getting the “supplements” to nourish and hopefully regenerate it. I’m about to have an ablation done-supposed help reduce the pain signals for roughly a year because injections don’t work and surgery isn’t an option since I’m dealing with degenerative disc disease. And from there will try the via disc injection. to try and actual heal or prevent decline.

I tried epidural injections for months but no relief so we ended up doing a microdiscectomy and it was wonderful for a year!! But now I’m am thinking we are having a joint/ligament laxity issue in all joints but I think surgery was the best option for me!

Spinal liquid was ruptured, so I had to stay in bed without any movement for 24 hours . Wasn't allowed to eat , water only. But I'm happy I did it. I'm still recovering.

My 2 brothers did the surgery and they are very happy. They did it 2 years ago. I did my surgery in july. But disc came back in dec. I did my second surgery 2 weeks ago. I still have leg and numbness. I guess I'm not lucky. I have to wait.
