Not super active on this app lately but anyone have any tips for staying organized and less stressed during major life changes? Been falling back into old coping and stressed and despite years of treatment centers and therapy I always feel I have no “skills” that work to cope with the changes. Just unfortunately tend to isolate and shut down but I am trying to reach out for help more.

      Old habits/maladaptive coping skills die hard. They are comforting and they seem to work, but not long term. I find opposite actions to help (do the opposite of what you feel and urge to do). Also playing out the tape by imagining how a situation may play out and coping ahead for those situations/outcomes. My biggest advice is to try to find some sort of routine and structure during the change. Also finding time for yourself to do small things for yourself. Even if its like getting boba tea or coffee or sitting quietly alone for 30 minutes.
