Buspar not working for me

I’ve been on Buspar for over a year - it definitely takes a few weeks to actually get working. I noticed improvements in my focus and anxiety within about two weeks I think but probably very different person to person

So I’m really confused 😅

However, everywhere I read about it, every website, it says that it takes 2-4 weeks of taking it daily to take effect

I was told by both my psychiatrist and the pharmacist that it takes effect right away, and that I can take it as-needed

I just got prescribed it recently
