Struggling with Diabetes and Food Trauma

I had a diabetic crisis last week because I reacted to the steroids my rheumatologist gave me for arthritis and my body is not back to “normal” yet. I was depressed as hell at the grocery store last night trying to meal plan because my normal meals won’t work with my higher levels. I’ve been a gold star diabetic; no meds, low glucose levels and this just sucks. I already have trauma with food from childhood then disorder eating in high school. And then on top, low carb food is expensive as hell and sometimes nasty.
