@CMD PT is fantastic for scoliosis, especially the smaller curves 🙂

Hello I saw your message and was curious as to what degree your scoliosis is? I went to a chiropractor for a neck adjustment and found out from him that I have scoliosis. He told me it wasn’t bad, but there was things that I could do to keep it from getting worse. He really encouraged exercise. Do you do any exercises for your scoliosis? Sad to say, I have not done a massive amount of research on this yet as I was just recently diagnosed. I have several other health issues that I have been trying to combat along with the scoliosis that they are taking priority over my scoliosis right now. I do lidocaine patches and heat patches which I buy over-the-counter and that helps me with my back pain. When my back pain gets too intense, I take Aleve. Unfortunately that is a double edge sword for me because it affects my kidneys and I have issues in that area , so I have to be very careful when taking Aleve taking it only when I can’t handle the pain any longer. Exercise is something I do moderately, as I am afraid to do exercise that is strenuous for fear I will trip and fall while jumping around. So I play it safe and I do a lot of walking. while exercising in my house, I’ll do the walking exercises.. i use weights, which helps build bone.. I have researched and it shows that if you use weights it can help to stress your bones which causes new bone growth. When I walk outside, I use a weighted vest and also push a baby stroller with my dogs in it and add 10 pound bag of rice to add weight to the buggy. I take vitamin supplements to help with my bone growth as well. Would love to chat if you are available perhaps you can give me information I am not aware of yet . Hope to chat soon 😊

@100Percent_K currently no, but i did for a few weeks last year. i've been keeping up with the weekly stretches i was taught, though they only help for short increments.

@Kefi I gotcha! I find gabapentin helpful as well for my pain. Don’t know if that’s an option at all for you
