Remembering My Mom: 3 Years Later

Wednesday will be 3 years since my mom passed away. I still miss her with everything I am. She was my best friend. I just want to curl up in a ball and cry.

      @sabbymer it really is. People keep saying it gets easier, but I don’t think it has for me. And I’m not sure I want it to? I don’t want my memory of her to fade, even if remembering is painful sometimes.

      So sorry about your Mom, I know that pain all too well. Before I got sober, my sister died, and me and my Dad were fighting because both of us were heartbroken, and he told me to "go and die somewhere" So I went to Long Term treatment to get well. The night. Before I left he asked me not to go, I was stunned. I told him I had to, but not to worry, I'll be back to visit before he knows it. When I arrived there at the place, he died the next day.

      Hey I understand I lost my mom 22 years ago when I was 13 and it doesn't seem to get easier 😔 i been missing her and wish I had her to talk to about life if general. My heart breaks for you 💔
