Hiiii it’s blue! I’m in the process of being diagnosed with ADHD. I feel like everyone recently has been commenting on how ‘lazy’ I am and I keep explaining that it isn’t me being lazy, it’s just super hard to get my self motivated to do things that aren’t spontaneous. It feels like a task to get myself to even wanting to do the activity. It’s slowly been getting worse over time. Sometimes I feel like I’m not good enough and I don’t know how to move past it and it’s really frustrating. Anyone have any advice? 🫠😕

Sounds like executive dysfunction, which is Hard. Some people's mole hills are everyone else's mountain and some people's mountains are everyone else's mole hills, and both things can be true for the same person so it doesn't mean you can't or haven't already achieved great things just because "basic" tasks are hard for you.
I get the same comments, and coming from someone diagnosed very young it was basically ingrained in me that i was lazy. I saw this Tik Tok the other day from a couple and the woman has ADHD and the husband doesn’t, a comment called her lazy and she said in a neurotypical way she is (to ppl w/o neurodivergence) but in reality she has accomplished all these goals and tasks, but fails to do some basic things i.e. do the dishes, put clothes away, stuff like that. this made me feel a lot better because i have the same issues even though i have accomplished plenty of goals in my life, even if they seem normal to others like graduating high school or along those lines, they were still big accomplishments for me and hard work. i do have very hard times getting motivation flowing, i don’t have much advice to get it flowing because i’m still trying to figure that out as well. i’m glad your getting your ADHD diagnosed, working with someone to help has been helpful for me! but don’t feel that what works for me or someone else will work for you, because ADHD isn’t the same in everyone and you may have less or more severe symptoms than I do. hopefully my little rambling gave you some insight 🤷♀️
