i need opinions/advice so recently i’ve been getting into watching morning routines and some of them make me feel bad about myself because i don’t have that same motivation and energy other people do. i’ve been thinking about making my own youtube account or tik tok account to make my own routine videos so that other people with mental illness don’t feel like they aren’t doing good enough. i’m just scared i’m gonna get made fun of or be judged for it, and i don’t even know how i would get started with that as i don’t have a mass amount of followers on any of my social medias. i just want to know if this is a good idea and if it is how i would get started, or if it would just be a waste of time. PLS BE HONEST!!!! i promise i don’t get offended easily and i would love some feedback :))))

I would watch that! I say do it! There will always be haters and I know its easier said than done... but try to ignore them. Do what you want to and are passionate about. If people make fun of you, tell them "at least I am doing something that helps others" or "at least I am doing something with my life other than being mean"

What helped me is this: Join Finch (invite code not needed but if you want mine is FL6ZRN7YSE) https://app.befinch.com/share/9vBU It's a self-care app, but to me radically different than any others I've tried -- I've actually kept on this one for over 6 months now! And I finally have been able to keep a morning routine 😃

@melabeille I strongly encourage you to check it out (the free version offers TONS of stuff) first. The YT idea can be helpful, as long as you don't think you'll get caught up in the stress & technicalities of setup & video editing & image, etc. Sometimes it becomes more about receiving that external validation, but I want you to have your routine for *you*. 🙂

It's not weird at all to want to create content that helps others with mental illness feel better about themselves. To get started, you can simply create an account on YouTube or TikTok and start posting your routine videos. Focus on the positive feedback and remember that there will always be judgmental people, but your content could make a difference for those who need it. It's important to have a good support system around you to stay grounded and remind you of your worth beyond the comment section. Good luck!
