I’ve been on 100mg Zoloft for a few months now (started at 25mg in may of 2021). I can deal with my depression (I assume lol I have always been depressed) but my anxiety is debilitating. I’m only 19 and never worked a job that wasn’t for friends or family and I can’t see myself even being able to. Basic things like going to the store by myself are so taxing. My mom tells me “I’m fine” idk just don’t have anyone to relate to idk what I’m evening asking lol. Ig how do I cope what do I do I’ve been looking for a therapist but never could afford it. And even so talking to a therapist would be anxiety inducing lol.

I have always had trouble talking to my parents as well because they just say, "you're fine" or "get over it". I also have a belief that therapy would make mine worse, no matter what others are saying
Hi! I’m also on 100 mg of Zoloft. For about 3 years now, I also have been in therapy since I was younger than 10. I understand that a therapist is scary but it may be a good step to overcome that anxiety. Obviously you want to feel better by reaching out here. Being a 19 year old also on Zoloft it can be challenging to envision your future or be very motivated because of some of the effects of it. Just know I’m rooting for you!

I feel the same, even though I'm only 17. I'm kinda opposite in terms of work. I've had 3 jobs, none for friends or family, but all doing what I love in Animal Science. I specifically looked for jobs away from people at school so I could avoid them. I currently hold 2 jobs, and I'm just starting 50 mg Zoloft for a month and then it may go up depending on how that goes. I had no one to relate to, even my friends. I feel bad for them because of the countless anxiety/panic attacks I've had around them. I know it's wildly out of my control but heres to hoping it gets better
