i got another UTI again, right on schedule (once a month, since 2 years ago). every time i get one, its worse than the last. i feel so weak and sick, it makes me feel pathetic unable to do basic things just because of a some bacteria. interstitial cystitis doesnt make it any easier.. any small feeling i need to go to the bathroom, it hurts my bladder so, so bad so i need to rush to the bathroom while feeling like a small push could just knock me out. CBD helps with the bladder. i didnt even know i had this UTI, no pain going to the bathroom, usually i have pain but rarely ive had non painful ones. i am on antibiotics for it now, but again i just feel so pathetic having only about enough energy to do one “major” thing a day before feeling like im going to pass out. by major i mean like taking a shower or walking my dogs for a few minutes in the yard. having to force myself to rest so much gives me anxiety, because i feel like im wasting my time even though any attempt to do work or school never works out. a lame, never ending cycle

Hi there. I totally relate. Have you gone to a urologist? It's possible that your bladder is not emptying all the way, or that your anatomy is causing you to be more prone to getting them. It can also be how you wipe. When I went to my doctor, they recommended a supplement called D-Mannose. I had done my own research and was actually taking it BEFORE the recommendation, but since then, I've had no UTI!!! They're available on Amazon to purchase as well. My urologist stated that you need to take 2,000mg (2g) per day for it to be effective. For the brand I use, that's four capsules. I also use cranberry chews, though she did mention that cranberry supplements typically don't have an active cranberry agent that is supposed to help keep UTIs at bay. Make sure you get antibiotics and finish the course entirely. But please try this supplement immediately as well. It's literally changed my life. I was getting so frustrated and upset. The body chills were terrible. I wish you all the best.

@Nyx.Saighdiuir yup, many times. back and forth between urologist, PCP, ER, and urgent care for months. i have gotten two bladder ultrasounds and i do empty fully. wipe correctly, change if i feel damp, never wear same underwear twice, could go on… I havent heard of that supplement before. i will check it out :). ive tried cranberry supplements too, but they havent worked for me. thanks so much!
