im wondering if i maybe dont have HS it was kind of a self diagnosis after i could find nothing else similar online as i was too scared to talk to the dr about it and now i cant lol. but my symptoms are severe black heads and white heads along the inner thighs and lower bum that turn into inflamed boils. often it syncs with my cycle and started after i started birth control

That doesn't really sound like HS but it definitely could be! For me personally, my HS doesn't coordinate with my cycle. It sounds more like something hormonal that was triggered by the birth control. Have you tried switching birth control? Definitely talk to a doc or a dermatologist who knows about HS. It's scary and soo hard, I have a huge fear of doctors so I understand. But in the end, they are there to help you!

You should get checked by a dermatologist. My pcp knows about the condition but the dermatologist knows so much more
