Hi, I’m a Sophomore in college who is recovering from a serious depression episode and I was wanting some advice on how to get back up on my feet.
Do one small thing that feels like progress, consistently. I had to take time off from school following a pretty bad depressive episode and the thing that started to make me feel better was just showering on a consistent schedule. It was small but made me feel like a capable human.
Alot of universities have mental health resources and counseling. I highly recommend using these if you don't already.
