Anyone with thyroid disease (specifically Hashimotos) have any luck getting a doctor to recommend thyroid removal?
My Hashimotos flare lately has been so bad. Extreme fatigue, joint pain, constipation, mood swings, temperature intolerance, and the worst has been the squeezing feeling on my neck and a crunchy feeling when I swallow. I've had these before, but they seem a lot worse lately.
I understand that the removal is not an end all be all solution, but if it gets me even slightly more consistency and increases my quality of life, I believe its worth it.
