I am needing some advice wether or not to admit myself... my boyfriend is out of state at the moment and has gone 24 hours without responding. (He is addicted to hard drugs so an OD is a possibility. Just happened a couple weeks ago with him. He is out of state visiting family.) My family doesn't know about my situation. My job kinda knows bits and pieces. My job has no coverage for me to miss any work if I were to admit myself to the psych ward. My life is in shambles but I am worried about everyone else around me. Please leave kind words and advice.

Hey! I'm honestly a huge danger to myself at this point in time. I think the safest thing to do would be to admit myself, but my boyfriend (one mentioned in post) has currently gone ghost for the time being. I'm just scared that if I do admit myself, would he be able to contact me to eventually let me know that he is ok. (If he hadn't already before the admission) It's crazy that I am worrying so much about him, when I should be worried about me. But my brain doesnt work like that lol

Why do you think you need to get admitted? What's the safest thing to do? Will you get fired? I'm here if you want to talk. I hope you can figure things out and everyone is okay *hug*
