Has anyone on Abilify ever felt jittery or the need to constantly be moving or like you need something in your hands at all time? I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD but this is totally different after starting the medication.
Yes i had that issue very badly with Abilify. I always felt restless like i was supposed to be doing something. I also got really tired. I ended up having to go off it because the side effects were too severe.
how bad were the side effects of you don’t mind me asking like unbearable or like constant dull feeling? That’s kinda how I feel. I like how this medication helps my mood but the restlessness and same feeling you described is very much affecting my ability to concentrate and focus and my anxiety is scared of getting drug induced Parkinsons
i was given something that helped with the restlessness (don't remember the name) but it was the fatigue that really made me need to quit. Even with tons of caffeine i was just so tired all the time and my productivity at work was really suffering. I'm on Lexapro now and doing well with it (but i just have cyclothymia, not bipolar)
I just went up on my dose and I haven’t noticed that but I’ve been extremely forgetful to the point where I’ve been forgetting questions I asked my partner 4 minutes prior
