I have had well controlled anxiety with the same medication and dose since I was 14. I’m now 26 and since last year when my grandpa died my anxiety has been out of control. I’m maxed out on two anxiety meds and on a medication for too fast of a heart rate. I just keep wondering what I’m doing wrong to have to keep increasing my meds or change them? I just want to feel okay and normal. I even left my job in foster care this year for a less stressful job. I just want it to go away!

Sometimes hard situations affect us in a whole different way. A way in which medication feels like it isn’t helping. I had a similar experience. I flipped out and felt out of control when my grandpa died. I went to therapy. Therapy with my medication combined helped! But grief is hard overall. My condolences. ❤️
