Do you jump awake when your doors rattle?

semi-vent below? take caution regardless lmao - - - - - - every time my neighbors move upstairs, it rattles my doors a little bit. when i started living on my own, i remember jumping awake at my door rattling before realizing "wait that's not my dad trying to get in its just my dumb door lmao" but looking back i realized that's absolutely *not* normal, esp in my own home. thankfully, i've outgrown this reaction (hopefully) and my bf reassures me my dad isn't gonna come in and punish me. is this just me or has anyone else experienced that?
