Endocrine Effects of Lyme Disease

Yes recently I started seeing a new naturopathic dr. She put me on iodine. Time will tell I guess.

After being diagnosed with Lyme I became diabetic (dependent on insulin injections). Some of my other health issues may have contributed to this however. I also have issues with a sluggish thyroid now as well.

I did and ended up with hypothyroidism. It’s tricky finding a doctor that looks at symptoms vs ranges. Ranges are outdated and everyone is different. There’s a great book on it called Stop the Thyroid Madness. Also I recommend finding a Walsh Practitioner to help you with thyroid and possibly Lyme.

I was told recently I might be pre-diabetic, I'm not sure it's related to Lyme but it sound's interesting
