i have been diagnosed with adhd but not medicated. what medications have you guys had good/ bad experiences with and what is most helpful? also, how do you guys deal with adhd stimming? for as long as i've been alive it seems i've never been able to stop twirling things in between my fingers. strings, straw wrappers, tags. anything. it absolutely destroys them and i have a massive thumb callus because of it. there are no fidget toys that replicate this so i just end up tearing up stuff. it's a joke with my family. some other ways i stim is by singing nonstop and standing on tiptoes. if i don't sing it feels like there's a raging ball of energy stuck in my throat that i can't get rid of.

Lmfao im the same way with shimming, I have to have something in my hands at all times. I got a box of fidgets from Amazon and the only one a really use is a silicon string, it’s the size and shape of a straw but stretchy. I take adderall XR and it works so well!
