I've been feeling down lately. My last depressive episode started in September 2021 and has been going on since. I thought it would be better by now but it's not. Other than meds, are there other treatments that may help? I work 3 days a week and couldn't get to work today and called in with stomach issues. Not going to work makes me feel like a failure. I need to think positive,but it's hard to.

      Are you able to go to therapy? That’s one thing. I would encourage you to not say you’re failing. You’re doing the best you can, and as long as you’re not putting yourself in danger of losing your job, then there’s no reason not to rest.

      I’m starting therapy tomorrow. This therapist is new to me. I tried therapy online but it’s not the same. I need a new medication. Now I’ve been taking Wellbutrin for about 15 years. It’s not working anymore. What else have you tried with treating your depression?

        @Twerty_Bird Being in nature, going for nature walks helps a lot. It's hard to do this on my own.

      Are you close with any family or friends? Maybe a med adjustment might be needed

        @Twerty_Bird I had a medication increase a couple of weeks ago so maybe it still needs time to work.
