First time taking Adderall, no effect yet

It’s rare to feel the effects of any medication that quickly. It usually takes a few days - weeks to notice a change. Don’t compare how you feel on adderall to how neurotypicals describe it. Since our brains actually need it, it should help you focus, feel calmer, and get tasks done. I had to gradually up my dosage until I found what worked for me. It took a little while. Just take it one day at a time and take notes in your phone on how you’re feeling to share with your Doctor.
