Our alters are capable of switching when they want, rather than from external stimuli. While some do have triggers, it's very few. I have UDD, not OSDD or DID, and I don't think there's a UDD tag on here.Is anyone else like this? I've had a bad reaction after someone heard about our alters "switching at will" and stuff.
Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD)
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
To be honest, That's kind of like me and my alters. I always thought that it was just a trigger I didn't react to, but after reading this I'm wondering if it's something different instead of OSDD..
This is how I am as well. In my system, we all work together and allow each other to front whenever we want to. There are certain alters who don't have as much of a say as the rest of us, but for the most part it seems like there's no exact stimuli to trigger a switch.
They can for me too 👍
