I struggle with medication noncompliance and it's extremely difficult for me to get back on track when I've slipped up and had a big period of missed doses but today I took my pills for the first time in a month. Now I just need to stay on top of it. I guess I can be proud of myself for that.

I'm not sure how much this will help exactly but it has help me a little. My great uncles gave me and mom these cool pill cases with butterfly designs on the top. Its a little old fashioned but it makes me feel like I'm fancy person when I open my meds instead of the bottle from the pharmacy or a modern weekday pill organizer.

@Quillathe ooo okay! I have a typical pill box with the day and night and I have two of them so I fill up two weeks worth at a time but once I run out I lose motivation to take them again.

Good for you! I sometimes have trouble with that, too. I motivate myself by reading about the dangers of not treating my illnesses. I don't let myself go to sleep until I've taken my meds.

@goronkiss yeah it's like I know how I feel when I don't take them but then I forget and then I slip up a bit and I feel okay at first so then I just keep going. Idk if I start to believe I don't need them or what.

Yes, you can be proud of yourself for taking your pills after a period of noncompliance. It's important to acknowledge your progress and continue working on staying consistent with your medication. Consider using reminders, pillboxes, or seeking support from friends or family to help you stay on track.
