Lately I've been getting a feeling like I'm trying to switch out of front but none of my alters are available to take front, meaning I just sit there disassociating. I wouldn't be too concerned about this if it didn't happen at work the other day. I just kept zoning out to the point where I almost collapsed a few times. It took about 2 hours for our Caretaker alter to show up and take front. I'd kinda prefer for this not to be a recurring thing at my job, lol. Do any of you experience anything like this? If so, do you have any advice?

Our headspace is set up so there's one room that is our "front" room and connected to that we have a big conference room. We've decided that at least 1 alter has to be available in that room at all times. It's really helped us with avoiding dissociating without switching in situations where someone has to be present

We did a lot. We experienced it so often, that it stressed us out to the point where we actually have an alter specifically for work. That helps a lot.
I actually got really triggered today at work and dissociated for 30 mins. I eventually got grounded by holding ice in my hands and doing the countdown method.
