How do you sit/lay comfortably during the day, especially during flare-ups? I have so many different pillows and foam rollers and such but I almost always lay in the bed, half leaning on the headboard and my legs extended. With neck issues already, now the pain is horrific from my neck to my ankles. Yes, my posture is horrendous but I had a double mastectomy in 2020 with a hematoma on my right torso for 4.5 months. I’m so sick of pain… please, help??

I typically sit in a recliner or lay on the couch. Thankfully I have an adjustable bed to sleep on. I'm on a combination of meds that keeps my pain around a 5 or 6.

I usually lay on my stomach to help get some deep pressure in my torso and change the pressure on my legs. When I can't do that, I use a weighted blanket on my chest or legs (sometimes all over) and try to be on my side. If I have to sit, I keep my limbs kind of tucked in and prefer having the blanket on my shoulders. Microwavable heat packs can give some of that pressure in a more specific spot. I've packs go wherever the pain is worst, usually a joint in my case. Joint braces also give that pressure and can sometimes keep ice in place.
