Has anyone been told they have an autoimmune disorder but just get bounced from specialist to specialist with no answers?

I am a nurse and I hate our healthcare system. It's not about the patients. It used to be, but those days have passed

@MTB1960 it's insulin resistant. Go to YouTube and look up Dr. B. Bikman. He can explain it all.

So, my pain doctor thinks I have auto immune! Now what do you all suggest I do next!

Autoimmune is simply an overly toxic body that is nutrient void. We have to live a detox lifestyle, heal our digestive system and get better nutrition in order to reverse the disease and heal

@Fully.Healed any thoughts on probiotics for the gut?

I’ve gotten a positive test for autoimmune but they don’t want to do further testing after the test they wanted to do were done. They won’t even send me to any other specialist.

Yes, I’ve been told by two specialists that I have RA. Then told by two others that I only have the RA factor but it’s likely something else. I also have the ankylosing spondylitis marker but the doctor needed an MRI to prove it. The MRI didn’t prove it but showed other issues. This has been a 16 year process and I still have no idea exactly what’s wrong with me.

Yes! I was first diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and sent to a specialist who said “oh no it’s just hyper mobility syndrome” and sent me on my way. Still in pain everyday without anything so just managing at this point 😅
