Hi everyone.. newbie here. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos back in 2010 after having multiple symptoms. I had an ultrasound which showed scarring on my thyroid, but because they said my levels were normal they couldn't medicate. I was put on depression meds. Fast forward to today I had bloodwork a couple weeks ago and my doctor is referring me to an endocrinologist. My levels are still showing normal, but my antibodies are still high and she ran another test that was high. A thyroglobulin test. Anyone heard of that? I've been researching it and it looks like it could indicate cancer cells which is scary.

Oh I have joint pain, muscle weakness in my legs, weight gain, hair loss, high cholesterol, fatigue. I can sleep 8 to 10 hours and get up have coffee and 3 or 4 hours later I need a nap lol. Also have depression and anxiety. I had a hysterectomy because of fibroids and heavy clotting with my periods in January of 2021.
Not necessarily cancer! From labcorp.com: Thyroglobulin is produced in all healthy individuals, and normally its level in blood is low. Thyroglobulin levels increase in both benign (Graves disease, subacute thyroiditis, Hashimoto thyroiditis) and thyroid cancer.
