Struggling with Chronic Illness Diagnosis

I made sure I was keeping a journal and made sure I was taking my meds for my other conditions and my doctor did process of elimination.

Took over 8 months of me constantly messaging and drowing my doctors in messages about how I was feeling. I denied using a lot of medications because my intuition was telling me they weren't prescribing the right things. The longer time went on. The more my gastro doc realized something wasn't normal. After some bloodwork came up with something, i was seen by an infectious disease doc. He immediately said it was cfs and that was that. You really have to be your own advocate sadly and stand up for yourself. Don't let these doctors gaslight you and fight for your right to be heard and diagnosed correctly.
