Has anyone ever tried acupuncture for muscle and joint pain? If so what was your experience?

Chronic Generalized pain
Lidocaine
Cortisone

Acupuncture was maybe helpful, but the person I saw also did cupping at the same time, so I'm not sure which did the heavy lifting. "Dry Needling" is AMAZING for muscle and joint pain (I had a TMJ physical therapist). I wish I could get it done twice a week, but now I'm lucky if I can attend once a month.

Personally im wary of needles because even the needle from a cortisone or lidocaine shot flairs up my pain. Everyone is different. I would start small and see how you react
