Having so much anxiety about this procedure today - endometrial biopsy. Why can’t they give me anesthesia? I’m freaking out. I don’t want to be lied to about it not being painful, though, as I have experienced procedures where everyone told me it was “no big deal,” like when I had Moh’s surgery (skin cancer removal) and it was very traumatizing, and I wasn’t prepared. Then the nurse asked me why I had such a low threshold for pain when I was crying in the doctors office. It was a horrible experience.
