I feel like I've been stuck in a hole for months and I'm unable to crawl out. I thought starting school again would help but im scared I won't be able to do my best and I can't afford to fail. I'm thinking about dropping my classes for the semester and taking more time for myself. I have thought about committing myself to a mental hospital for a few years on and off, but I've heard so many negative things about it but I don't know what else I can try at this point. Does anyone have any advice? I've thought about just driving far away and isolating myself for a while but I'm scared to travel alone in unfamiliar places.

I've also been in a hole for a while and have been considering going back to school. I decided to set a goal of not making any long term decisions for a month. Really focus on thought patterns and getting healthier without the pressure of feeling like if I don't feel better right away I can't go back to school. It really helped and I ultimately decided to wait another year before going back to school. Things always take longer than we want them to. I hope this helps and happy to talk in more detail too.

I'm currently in school and started in February. I'm currently unenrolling for this semester so I can focus on me more because I don't have time for work, school, my 5, 19 & 20 year old, work and myself. It's very overwhelming and exhausting
Have you tried therapy or self- improvement tactics?
@darkstarrynight I hadn't seen my therapist since January because I haven't been able to make an appointment, made an appointment last month finally but she so busy that I won't see her for another 2 weeks
@mashed_potato do you know what medical system she's with? Mine is through Allina and their video calls through MyChart and it was a game changer for me
