Urgh.. the last few months Inhave felt like my energy levels have been Zzzapped!! I am mentally so busy but my body/energy does not have the same vibe. Is it possible that after a serious shift in life march last year, trauma and illness (covid & flu twice) that it exacerbates the fatigue in fibro. Or could it manifest into ME? xx

I have CFS/ME, and one of the defining characteristics is that it’s triggered by a viral infection. (It’s mho that Long COVID and CFS are the same thing.) Stress and anxiety are some of the worst triggers for my fatigue, and the only thing that helps is pacing. As hard as it is, you have to rest when your body needs it, for as long as it needs. It’s one of the most maddening things about this disease. The to do list gets longer and longer and I’m stuck on the couch. 😖

Also look up adrenal fatigue. I think some of your symptoms match it.
I meant your mind could be so busy that it's wearing your body out. I exhaust my body before I get out of bed lol but fibromyalgia plus my back issues don't help at all.
You can be mentally busy, ie (planning to do all these things; chores, hang with friends, take clothes or food to a drive). But physically your body is worn down. Maybe lack of vitamin d? D3 is a great vitamin that the dr prescribes, which is also in sunlight. You can find it in a gummy. The dr can do a blood test and see how low it is and how much you need. It will also bring up serotonin levels. Are you getting enough sleep? If not, sometimes your body will just drag. Or if you just stopped something abruptly like meds or caffeine, that can do it too. I would talk to your Dr about it if it gets too bothersome for you. I hope you feel better soon. ❤️
I don't know that it's become ME, but I can tell you that I too struggle with fatigue a lot. I don't know if it's the Fibromyalgia or Arthritis, but I'm so tired that I have to nap every day. I get up around 6:30-7, and have breakfast. Then I try to nap between 9-1, have lunch and go about my day. Then I go to bed around 9:30-10. I usually don't fall asleep for a while, and sometimes struggle to sleep. I know this isn't realistic for a lot of people, but the take away is that you need to prioritize yourself. If you don't get the rest you need you can't do what you need/want to do, including being there for your family or friends. Good luck!
@Raquel226 Hmm yeah.. Absolutely agree that the fatigue side of Fibro, and I have arthritis too which utterly sucks.. I have noticed a significant shift with the exhaustion though. I am utterly dragging myself along somedays! My fam can see it, hear it my voice and so on. They're concerned
