Hello Tanisha. Stella here. I was diagnosed at 20, and I'm almost 46, I struggle with it, and have done everything I could or was directed to do. The meds are scary. But finally, in my state, medical marijuana was legalized. For three years, I have had relief. It has also treated, nerve damage, Rheumatoid arthritis pain, psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis pain, gastroparesis, chronic PTSD anxiety and depression. It isn't for everyone but, maybe CBD o can help as it's allover the place now. And, we are here on this app. I hope this helps you know you are not alone.

Unfortunately with fibromyalgia comes brain fog. I feel your pain. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at age 32 at the peak of my driving career at Greyhound. I am now 42 and can barely get up somedays to get my son ready for school. I have a really hard time remembering dates and times of appointments and events and I have lost alot of my memory of things that I have done. So you are not alone. The only thing that used to help me focus when I couldn't was Abilify another pill. It didn't bring back old memories but it helped me remember things I had to do in my present day to day life.

Hey Tanisha, I was diagnosed when I was 24 Iā€™m now 30ā€¦ I completely understand.. It like my brain doesnā€™t work as fast or as good as it use too! I feel like I havenā€™t accomplished much because of this condition except my 5 beautiful children. I finished my associates degree and then fibromyalgia came along and I havenā€™t been able to go back to school or work consistently.. Iā€™m at the point now where Iā€™ve gave up trying to work. Iā€™ve developed Raynuads Syndrome as well.. Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s from the fibromyalgia but I assume it is smh.. now I just take each day as it comes

Hi Tanisha. I was diagnosed around 30 yrs of age. Iā€™m now 50. Unfortunately Iā€™ve developed secondary illnesses. I too, have struggled with pain and discomfort. Only as of late have I had issues with memory issues. I have learned over the years to take things in stride and do away with unnecessary stress and complications
