I am very interested in this approach. Would love to find a therapist that thinks the same. Maybe I could learn a little from you. Definitely interested in your website when you launch

@Hexywitch I would love to share some of what I've learned along the way with you. I believe that any real and lasting change can only come through growing in our understanding of what's really going on in our minds and cultivating a deeper sense of awareness. One that's free of the hardcore fight for survival mentality that usually traps us and eventually chews us up and spits us out, all just to go through it again and again. It breeds a sense of hopelessness and helplessness. That despair becomes our default mode of living in our daily lives. In order to rise above this horrible cycle we have to create a shift in our perspective. It's not easy because most of us have lived in this imagined reality for so long that we don't believe there's any way to change it. But there is. If we can begin to see the many ways that we are actively supporting this hopeless and helpless perspective then we can begin to change it for the better. We're already fighting our mental health and it's making us sick, why not change the way we're fighting it to where we can feel some hope in our lives and begin to feel like we have some kind of power to change it. Right?

Absolutely! I credit most of my progress in my mental health struggles with what I've learned from my spirituality, self-help books etc. I'm currently writing a book and working on a website on what I've learned. Not too many people ever seen interested in this type of approach to their mental health.
