Will there be a way to improve my drastic mood changes? Does listening to music often also help you stabilize your moods better?

@Alysida yeah it’s definitely a long process but super worth it. The TIPP (temperature, intense exercise, paced breathing, paired muscle relaxation) skill from distress tolerance is great for dealing with extreme emotions. For more minor things, I found the STOP (stop, take a step back, observe, proceed mindfully) skill helpful. I also like ASMR videos for calming down

Have you tried DBT? It’s a lot of effort, but it changed my life. I only listen to emo music haha so it tends to reinforce what I’m already feeling

@Llamasizzle I went to residential and they do it there and I'm working on the skills with my therapist but it's a really slow process and I always have problems with my parents and my irritability etc.
