Is it just me or does having bipolar depression thrive on some type of familiarity or routine?
For example I can be on vacation or relax for a week but if I do more than that I have an episode of feeling worse. Once I go back to the routine or familiarity I feel more secure and better.

Oh yeah, I feel that routine is tremendously beneficial and important. It does, in my opinion, also need to be a little flexible, though.

I’ve tried both ways, with and without routines. I have learned if you keep a positive routine going you’re less likely to have an episode 🙂

Yes, bipolar disorder needs a routine or schedule.
