I have checked my spending this month and I can’t stop blaming myself for having lost track of how much I was spending. I am also very anxious about having to spend more money on psychiatrist, psychologist and other medical consultations. I’m just starting, so I do hope they help indeed and are not a waste of money, but I can’t stop feeling guilty and worried money wise. Is this normal? Anyone experiencing similar feelings?

I think we all do this. Some are better than others. Only thing you can do is learn from it and move forward. If you can maybe pick up some extra cash by doing side hustles like Uber or door dash if you’re in a hard spot financially. I just did this same thing after I got my paychecks and didn’t realize how much I was spending! Stay strong! 🫶🏽

I feel bad about how much all of that stuff costs all the time. I also use thc for some of my medical conditions and that I can’t just put on my insurance card so I feel bad if I ask my mom for money for it even though everyone tells me that that’s the same as my prescriptions and don’t even cost that much more than regular prescriptions either 🥴

Also, when it comes to a psychiatrist, or psychologist. My main goal in getting one of those would be to officially diagnose me with tests, because it was something my family never did for me when they needed to during my childhood. I'm 20 and I'm just now learning about everything with me. So much left unanswered makes me feel so far behind in life. Pretty common to happen too.

Yeah I've been having anxiety about my spending habits. It's only a little bit every time I do spend, but that adds up. My husband tells me easy specific guidelines I can follow so I don't keep spending money. But I'm so forgetful and have to spend it anyway. I hope you can relieve that stress you're having. It sucks for sure.

Being money smart is something pretty hard for me. I can find just about anything and have a ton of reasons for getting it, and end up never using it.
