Is it important to have frequent testicular examinations when there is significant abnormalities since birth in one?

I had unilateral undescended testes meaning one came down and one didn't. I had an operation when I was very young to bring it down and i literally have a string attached to it that keeps in place. At such an age it was a great deal of trauma but I'm glad it happened. I would always recommend to get it checked out if you can afford it at least for the piece of mind

One testicle is only descended about 3% and the other is very high and scrotum is very tight. Haven’t been examined in over 9 years

I think it depends what the abnormality is. Some genital abnormalities may become cancerous, and should get removed before
