My psychiatrist prescribed Lexapro since Sertraline has been making me feel groggy and foggy/like a zombie. I can't take Wellbutrin because I have a history of epilepsy and seizures. Those of you taking Lexapro, has it helped? Any side effects?

i agree with others, do NOT cut it out cold turkey. lexapro actually worked decently for me and i had no side effects that i can remember. i hope you feel better on it :)

First Two weeks were a little hellish I was DRAINED but could not sleep at night , I felt worst for the first two weeks. I read up on it and I guess that's normal with medications like Lexapro..things get worst for a week or two and then get better. Everything I felt the first two weeka, had been reported as temporary side effects. Hang in there! Gets better

I had the same change of med. DO NOT go off Lexapro cold turkey, you will get severely sick. I learned that the hard way šŸ˜…. It seems to work well when I remember to take it ā¤ļø

Lexapro did work out for me. It does cause grogginess but it does help

Lexapro worked well for me but I found that it ran out effectiveness much quicker than my other meds. Only side effect I had was maybe losing appetite
