Feeling like an outsider in a neurotypical world

Chasing neurotypical approval is a losing game--though I totally get the urge, and if they're your boss or something it might do you more good to fake it. Ultimately I've found way more fulfillment surrounding myself with neurodiverse folks, because even if we can't entirely understand each other’s specific flavor of neurodiversity, we have way more common ground and understanding typically.
