Does ototoxic tinnitus usually reverse?

What I’d say depends on how you got it (sound, car accident, ototoxic medication, etc.)

My Dr as well doesn’t want me around loud sounds. I have musician ear plugs that help during social events.

I developed tinnitus after Covid. I am on. Betahistine for cochlear Hydrops a form of Ménière’s disease without vertigo. It’s 14 months on this medication and there is a difference from last year. I still have tinnitus but have some days where I don’t notice it
