My family's farm. The air is so clear and you can see rolling hills for miles. You can smell every scent there is from the animals themselves to the crops that were planted. Then at the end of the day, everyone gathers for dinner and the house is filled with laughter.

My back garden, we have a beautiful plot of land and get lots of birds and various critters including deer and groundhogs visit pretty often too! If I am ever feeling bad I go sit on our porch and watch the birds flit back and forth. So lovely after growing up in a concrete jungle!

Nature, being outdoors, the mountains. My dad passed in February and I feel close to him when I am outside. He is where I got my love of the outdoors from. He would travel a lot and I am going to California this summer to sprinkle his ashes in the places he loved. I want to travel where he did and see the beauty he found.

Flow state... Getting stuff done and feeling productive but also pretty effortless. This changes as to what it is, and is tough to get into but its like relaxing in a lazy river, something else (like water is doing the moving/ heavy lifting).

My passion which is my art. I could get lost in drawing and listening to music a lot and it makes me so happy

I once went to Indonesia for a service trip. The beach on the island we were staying at, laying in that hammock, that’s my happy place.

This question is always challenging to me. My therapists have always said to picture your happy place and describe it. But when I try to think of a happy place I don't see a beach or an old memory or anything. It's a blank void of nothingness... I have trouble gathering a mental image of something as simple as an apple as well...

My Happy Place is a white bridge over a stream with botanicals all around and a waterfall coming out of the rocks 🪨 and into the stream. I think I will go to that place now!

Standing in the rain (alone). I don’t know exactly what it is about the rain that makes me feel so unbelievably euphoric. I don’t understand why it feels so outside of the world from everything else. Others will look at me like I’m crazy as they rush inside with their bags over their heads or huddled close under tiny umbrellas. I always take my raincoat out but I don’t know why because I become instantly happier when I take it back off. I recently danced in the rain with my headphones on. It was only drizzling and only for a moment for fear my headphones would be ruined… but that moment was pure bliss. Two of my favorite feelings at once. In an idealistic world my headphones could remain in the rain forever without damage and the rain would come down in a pour rather than a drizzle. Music and rain are a perfect match in my mind. Music reaches me in ways nothing else can, and the rain is such a wonderful and beautiful sensory experience. It’s all so completely and simply perfect.

Deep inside a good book, a quiet place away from crowds but preferably with family, inside a dark room during a fierce thunderstorm, in my truck with my dog.

I have 2 happy places. 1 is with my boyfriend who I making the enemy right now so that sucks the most and the other is with my family. Surrounded by my family.

I feel strange comfort when I'm in abandoned, remote, or lonely locations. My favorite thing about growing up in band was wandering the school wayyy after school is over, when the hallways are dark and nobody's there. Nowadays my favorite place is the concrete bathroom/shower of a local campsite. There's also a huge concrete stairwell in my college that I love sitting in because nobody ever uses it and it's so echoey <3

Physically? Anywhere with my kiddos. Mentally? I’ve built a happy place I like to call Witt’s End and I love to escape there during meditation.
