Hi guys, im quite recently diagnosed and i am struggling with the suggested 'self help' / maintenance advice i've been given. i struggle daily and feel like my doctors aren't supporting me.

I completely understand that. You can only do so much to help yourself when your body is working against you. Just do the best you can. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of advice have they been giving? I know how doctors are, a lot of them just can’t comprehend how we are feeling.
