I feel like by the time my ibs is peaceful. My pain flares (amps) and its just a never ending battle. I am in therapy (physical and council.) How do you stay motivated when you are burdened by chronic conditions?

the only thing i can do is remember my lowest points and reflect on how much has changed since those times, and reminding myself that things always pass, progress isn’t linear, and it’s okay to have days that are worse than the last it doesn’t mean your health is relapsing.

Are you on any medication for your IBS/chronic pain? Amitriptyline could be considered with your medical provider?

Unfortunately I don't really have any advice, I struggle with the exact same thing. If my digestive system is finally manageable, my joint pain of course gets a lot worse. And just as soon as that settles down my ibs has a major flare up. Hope it helps at least knowing you're not alone!
