does anyone have trouble staying asleep? my whole life I've never slept longer than 4 hours straight and I've only discovered the past few years that this isn't normal 🙈 each night I wake up after 2-4 hours and it takes me a good 30 mins-2 hours to fall asleep again

This may be due to a cortisol rush in the middle of the night. You can order a test (search dutch cortisol test) it's a swab you do as soon as you wake up in the middle of the night to test your cortisol levels. A lot of us with chronic illness deal with nervous system dysfunction --cfs definitely, so it isn't uncommon for our hormones to be a little off.

yeah I've tried valerian root tea which helped a lot with falling asleep faster! but nothing has ever helped me stay asleep 🙈 I have been intermittent fasting for a few months now too, but not eating as healthy as I'd like to when I do eat 😅
Extra sleepy time tea helps me and fasting actually helped my sleep after only 1-2 weeks
