Does anyone have any advice for trying to make new friends? I am kinda awkward and have a fear of people finding me “toxic” because I struggle a lot with mental illness and I have lost a good friend this past year due to it. I’m so depressed and I know I would feel better if I just had people to talk to or do things with.

i can sorta relate to you, the best way that usually helps me is to just introduce yourself. at my job when we get new people, as nervous as i am to speak, i always try to introduce myself to break a barrier. it took me a looong time to get out of my comfort zone with that, but it does start new bonds (: (i still barely have any friends but hey, we all have to start somewhere right?)
