Benzoyl peroxide and hydrocolloid bandages can help along with polysporin or similar to avoid infection on open wounds. If you have a dermatologist they can also prescribe humira or other things like topical antibiotics that may help but being it’s an autoinflamitory condition and most are sterile antibiotics helping can be a mixed bag. I tried doxycycline, which would make it worse before better, but I never got to the better part because i could only handle it 3 days. People in fb support groups also have luck with diluted bleach baths, using dandruff shampoo on flares ( a lot of them like the tea tree oil head and shoulders specifically for that), hibiclens, zinc diaper rash cream, especially for the pain, Vicks vapor rub or drawing salves to bring them to a head as well, that’s all I can remember being mentioned currently
Abreva if you cannot get a prescription. I have a dermatologist so I have clindamyacin lotion.
