I have so many kinds of anger and so much of it all built up inside of me I can't even sleep.... I don't know what to do because every time I try to release my anger I get yelled at for not doing it properly

      Find a safe space, a friend's house, a therapist office or even go for a walk at night and stand in a field and just scream at the top of your lungs. Just screaming might help or yelling about something specific might help too, the sky is whatever it is you're angry at and just let it out. I can recommend the therapist office option. Just ask if they mind if you just scream and let some anger out and they should be more than accommodating and then can hopefully help find the route cause of your anger once you feel better about it by letting it out. Another option if you need a physical release is beating the hell out of your mattress or pillow, punching it won't hurt you or anyone else so it's safe but it will help release that built up energy. You could even combine these if you needed to.

      Screaming into a pillow, or doing exercise helps with my anger. Deep breathing. Distracting myself. Those things.

      I have the same problem and nothing seems to help. But I think your anger might be repressed from your past. So until you deal with that, nothing you do will completely take it away. Who in your past are you angry at? Find ways to deal with this unresolved anger.

        @Friday13 I haven't thought about that

      Honestly having something as simple as a pillow to punch or angry drawing or working out may help as well as going to a place where you can just scream at the top of your lungs

      The creative arts and gaming help with my anger a lot when it does come up
