Just venting: Sometimes I feel so trapped by ME/CFS. My ability to pace myself is limited because I work full-time at a physically active job that I am passionate about and have two young kids. My partner is very helpful and supportive, but I feel guilty for relying on him so much because he's had to take on the brunt of the housework rather than us splitting the work evenly. My flare ups make me bedridden for days, and even when I'm not flaring, I'm low energy, delicate, and anxious not to send myself into another flare. I used to be much more high energy and active, exercising regularly, and now I can't exercise at all and have gained 30 lbs as a result. And because my lab tests come back negative every time, my Dr doesn't know how to treat me. So I'm just stuck, trapped by the limitations of my body, always either falling apart or on the verge of it.
